Who We Are

10 Thousand Waters was founded by Eddie Castaneda a University of St. Thomas graduate and Bryce Leppert who attended the University of North Dakota. While they were leading a camping trip deep in the Northern woodlands of Minnesota the land of 10 thousand lakes, they realized the importance of having reliable equipment. The abundance of fresh water inspired them to create an outdoor brand that gave back to the land and helped others. 10 Thousand waters is a reflection of adventure and freedom. Whether you're navigating emails or the tundra our gear will work as hard as you do.

We donate a portion of all proceeds to children in need right here in the US. We partner with organizations that provide water, food, and basic necessities so children can prosper across the United States. Our mission since the beginning has been to help those most in need. 

All too often the lack of basic necessities puts the most vulnerable in danger. By providing basic necessities we are providing the tools that the most vulnerable need to prosper. These necessities allow a child to finish school and have the tools necessary for a better life.

With every purchase you make, you are helping a child have a better life. 

Some of our limited edition products indicate what charitable cause they contribute to. At times we sponsor monthly charities. We announce what charities we will be supporting on a monthly basis. Portions of those purchases are donated to the identified charity.
